zastanawiałem się, gdzie to wrzucić - ale tu jest chyba najodpowiedniejsze miejsce.
Nie mogę zrozumieć "fenomenu" tego PF - kto kupuje taki chłam? przypadkowe foty - kremów, butelek, past do zębów, etc.
Klasyczna forma "zaśmiecacza" stockowego.
Nie powinno mnie to w sumie ruszać - ale jestem z Poznania i gdy wrzucam jakieś edytoriale z mojego miasta - to zaraz zalewa je ta cała masa g..na produkowanego przez tego kolesia - wpisuje POZNAN i zawsze natykam się na ten ogrom badziewia

People tend to be very "brave" in forums but doesn't have any clue what they are doing. I shoot what sells.... who are those buyers then that download my images of what you call "trash"? This is microstock and not a Premium stock site. You really belive i am shooting 30K photos since 2011 if there is no good return? You can find me on Facebook and if you want we can meet for a beer and discuss if you really mean what you think. 

Man ... please think first and then do. It will help you in much cases in life .

About those images showing up in the keyword Poznan.... check the guidelines of Shutterstock. Illustrative editorial have the same caption as regular editorials what means starting with the city and country. It is a rule of Shutterstock. Search for coca cola and you will see that any picture of coca cola starts with the city. If you want to see a cathedral of poznan simply put "Poznan Cathedral". Then you will not see any shampoo or coca cola. No need to scream in the forum and acuse. I sell many photos with shampoo or other branded products and it is a fact. Just because you dont need them i will not stop shooting them. PLease.

Mirco - do not take my post personally. I do not attack you and I do not distribute false information (if it is different in your opinion - please indicate in which place).
I expressed my opinion about your photos - I admit that I do not understand how it can sell at all. But since it brings you a satisfying income - it's your business.
My opinion is that by this type of bad photos many customers leave stocks like Shutterstock - because they are not able to find anything sensible in the flood of poor content - like yours (although of course not all photos are bad - but I did not browse the whole PF). Unfortunately (for you) many people in this forum share my opinion.
I wrote about sending photographs from Poznan - and this is the fact that your photographs are flooding with other content from our city (I am writing about editorials of course).
I admit that I do not understand the phenomenon of selling photos like yours. I'm not asking you to explain it. I think that you are not the problem but the bank that accepts such material.
Do not take it personally. No offence.

Mirco działa z godnie z regułami stocka i nie jego zadanie dbać o estetykę czy cokolwiek innego, jest na stocku aby zarobić dudtki, jeśli zarabia znaczy się jego pomysł jest skuteczny. Co z tego, że zdjęcie nam się nie podoba albo opis dziwaczny i wprowadzający w błąd, nie on wymyśla reguły. To jest tak jak z tym rosyjskim generałem w Warszawie, który był brzydki i nieelegancko podrywał panie, kiedy mu zwrócono uwagę, że przecież nie ma szans odparł, statystycznie częściej dostaje w mordę ale...

Co nie zmienia faktu, że szokuje mnie nisza, jaką znalazł i którą skutecznie eksploruje.
Ale jak widać - co zresztą łatwo sprawdzić wyszukując jego zdjęcia w google - to się rzeczywiście sprzedaje.

First of all I am very sorry that I am not writing in Polish. I am fine with speaking... I live in poznan 7 years now and have two kids. So I hope they will teach me writing .

Adalbert. Also sorry to you for some comments I made. Thats why comments on forum should be always overtought. After changing some private messages I am sure you are a fine guy.


I know how to take good photos I believe but Shutterstock is not the place to showcase them. Shutterstock is not a premium stock agency. We earn 38 or 36 cents and even lower. Next to this those images are selling good enough. I would not spend time since 2011 to have 30k port if they didnt. I can put many printscreens from many of those product photos that have more then 50 sales. I have photos that sold over 1000 or 3000 times. I really dont need to proof myself. You can search for me on google "Mirco Vacca Shutterstock" It will show you many results of my "shampoo" photos placed on many online articles. Still it doesnt include all by far. This doesnt disturb me. The disturbing thing here is that I am accused for spam. Thats not true. I am following all the rules of shutterstock.

The problem here are the titles for illustrative editorial content. Shutterstock obligates to add city date and place for them. So if somebody shoots photos of coca cola on white background in a studio in Warsaw it will show up in the search therm Warsaw. It is a mistake of Shutterstock rules.

On the other hand if a buyer needs a picture of the Poznan Stary Browar shopping mall he will not enter only "Poznan". He should enter "Stary Browar" or "Poznan shopping mall" if he is serious. It is all about right use of keywording. Your only competition are the ones in the same keywords and not all database.

Nie będę nikomu mówił jak i co ma fotografować i pitolić o jakiejś etyce czy estetyce. Jak ktoś ma aparat i  wychodząc po bułki rano do sklepu pierdyknie kilka fotek prawie z biodra, ot tak po prostu, to jego sprawa. Ale że to ktoś chce kupić?  Pamiętam taki wywiad z gościem z Alamy ( Angol ), który miał roczną sprzedaż tam w okolicach 100 tys $. Zaglądnąłem z ciekawości na jego portfolio, i co? Wyglądało tak jak to tego gościa z Poznania, tylko że angielskie i więcej tam było fotografii z ulicy i w ogóle outdooru. Może to jest jakiś sposób na większą sprzedaż, może to są te naturalne fotki, niepozowanie, tzw. samo życie. Idę juto na ulicę i trzepię jak leci, może się sprzeda

Jarekwitkowski - ciekawi mnie nie tyle treść (wulgarna) słów kluczowych ale bardziej ilość tych słów - 71
Jeśli dobrze się orientuję, to można mieć 50 słów kluczowych. To zdjęcie muchy na rurze w wersji angielskiej ma 21 słów kluczowych.
Sprawdzając dalej okazuje się że w innych językach jak czeskim, hiszpańskim itd też jest 71 słów kluczowych w tym 50 to te wulgarne.
Może w tym tkwi sekret sporej sprzedaży, gdzie wulgaryzmy przyciągają "muchy do rury" i są jedynie w językach (spekuluję) nie obsługiwanych przez SS
