Dreamstime wprowadza Tax Center
#11
Jest i mail w tej sprawie:

Dear Wojtek,

This letter is to advise you in regards to the amount of U.S. Tax that is to be withheld from your US-sourced Dreamstime earnings as of September 15th 2010.

For more details, please access our tax center at link below:
http://www.dreamstime.com/tax-center

According to our records, it appears that you may be a resident of Poland, which has an income tax treaty with the United States that specifies a reduced rate of withholding tax on royalties (10.00 %).

If you are a resident of Poland and qualify for benefits under the US/Poland income tax treaty, you need to complete a U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form W-8BEN, Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner for United States Tax Withholding. We have an online version of Form W-8BEN which you are required to fill in and submit in the tax center on our website by September 15th . You will find this form at link below:

Please note that IF the form is not submitted by the date mentioned above, 30% withholding tax from your Dreamstime earnings coming from US buyers will be deducted.

For questions on tax withholding from your Dreamstime earnings, please check our FAQ's in the Tax Center or email us at office@dreamstime.com

Thank you for your cooperation and attention to this matter.

Best Regards,

w pkt 6. jest pole:
applied for (10%) czy aby nie trzeba go odhaczyć?

- mention "applied for" in case you applied for an ITIN and are waiting for IRS issuance
- mention "no treaty country" if no tax treaty exists between US and your country

Wiec jeśli "you didn't apply for an ITIN and are not waiting for IRS issuance" to raczej nic w tym podpunkcie nie grzebieszIcon_wink
