Changes coming for a few Special Licensing terms
Changes to take place May 1 2009:
We are updating a few terms of the Special Licensing agreements, to keep up with the other sites. These are the changes:
1. Limited licenses will now allow a print run of up to 5,000 for products and uses covered by these licenses, instead of the current 1,000. iStockphoto allows and Dreamstime allow 10,000, and Fotolia allows unlimited run for just a few dollars more, so we need to raise this to stay competitive, so 5,000 seems reasonable.
2. The maximum allowed pixel size image allowable for Online Software licenses is being raised from 400 px to 800 px. iStockphoto uses this standard too for this purpose.
3. We will be combining some of the licenses that are very similar such as Apparel and Print licenses in order to simplify the license selection process for users.
We encourage you to continue selling under all these licenses, as these buyers spend more per capita than standard license buyers. If you simply cannot bear these changes, you can opt out in your Account : Uploads area.
